During the lip filler treatment, you first discuss your wishes with the doctor. The doctor will then provide you with honest advice and set realistic expectations about the expected results. If you decide to proceed with the lip filler treatment, your lips will be numbed first before the doctor injects the filler with a thin needle. This injection can cause temporary swelling, which is a normal reaction and typically subsides within a few days. To achieve the best results after your treatment, we recommend that you follow the following advice:

1. Do not lie flat for the first 2 hours after the treatment.
2. Remember not to smoke, exercise, or consume alcohol for 24 hours following the treatment.
3. Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for 2 weeks.
4. During these 2 weeks, we recommend avoiding saunas, spas, or hammams.
5. Avoid exposing yourself to facials, laser treatments, or peels during this period as well.
