Your treatment starts with a consultation where you discuss your wishes with the doctor. The doctor will then provide honest advice and explain the expected results. If you decide to continue the treatment, the muscles are first marked. You will be asked to make some facial expressions, allowing the doctor to identify the location of the muscles under the skin. Then, the doctor will inject Botox into the muscles using a thin needle. This process is repeated at multiple points under the mouth, effectively relaxing the entire muscle.
